They have ordered 2 Super Tucanos and 2 AT-6b's for testing, as I told you early on, this has NEVER been a real need in the USAF, it has been something to "help" friends in very low end conflicts to have "something", even if its not a very effective striker, more of a moral booster than a real tactical aircraft...

The single areas where it has justification Are if we intended to rebuild the USAF into a Asymmetric war forever. AFSOC who does the previous. Joint training foreign military for COIN ops and if aliens showed up and disabled everything with a jet engine.
