Unmanned Combat Ground Vehicle

Well, I've been trying to get a clip of this robot ball also and now I have it.

Looks straight out of a Bond movie

Here's a far bigger one: it's used for patrol and policing.

China is working on space-based solar arrays that can operate 24/7 and beam power down to earth or to the moon. Very real technology, a celestial array 1km across can provide more power than a single nuclear power station. A downside is that the base collector station would have to 10x the size - if you want or need all of the 2+ gigawatt power (in this example).

With reusable launch technology and projects like Tengyun, the cost of putting kilograms in space is decreasing. The holy grail would be <= $1000 per kilogram.

China has plans to construct a lunar station. If an ideal site near frozen water and hopefully some metals and minerals can be found - what happens when you’ve got a nuclear power plant on the moon?

You use robots to build a base (first unpacking and assembling modules, eventually constructing components on site). There is so much possibility here, you could even eventually build mines and factories on the moon.

Would there even be human soldiers on the ground during AR??? I find that doubtful at this moment.
Humans will still be there, especially during the seizure of Penghu Island. Even autonomous vehicles are limited due to vision and the fact that machines break down. However, there won’t be the D-Day scenarios that are commonly thought of by American ”think” tanks. I’d imagine that it would be smaller sized infantry units that are heavily augmented by unmanned vehicles.
