I dont think its that the casualties are extremely high.
Most likely the problem is that there are too few troops for this invasion. From day 1 i called it that Russian troop numbers at the Ukrainian border weren't enough for a full invasion

@Overbom bro their Eastern flank is protect by China, maybe a statement to the NATO, they can bring more force to bear like what they did in Stalingrad during WW2.
The thermal camera resolution on that Russian UAV is quite poor in comparison to the TB2 Bayraktar. Wonder if the missile strike was being filmed by an Orlan-10 catapult-launched drone, instead of that same Orion drone.

These are most likely going to be for occupation and pacification.
The Russians undoubtedly encountered more resistance than they were expecting, but I don’t think combat looses are anywhere like what the western MSM and social media are suggesting.
If the Russians were suffering as badly as being claimed, the Ukrainians wouldn’t need to be spamming multiple shots of the same broken down tanks they then set on fire to make it seem like there were far more Russian losses or to praypaint ‘Z’s on their own knocked out armour.
Well don't forget that when the Peace finally comes, if any "Ukrainian" areas are taken under occupation, Russia will be able to call on the substantial manpower of Donbass Regions to act as garrison and not need to use its own forces.

I heard other analist say that it will be the Ukrainians that will clean up the neo fascist elements in their societies.

I have noticed the DNR and LNR troops are showing themselves to be really good at this, for example:
This is of course on top of being much better than Russian forces at waging and countering informational warfare.
