Turkey actually made this statement many days ago at the start of the war.Why is this happening?
Because Russian performance in Ukraine have been mind-boggling. A disaster in some cases.
Turkey smells Russian blood and weakness. I won't be surprise if NATO enacts a NFZ in western part of Ukraine.
Agreed. RuAF is MIA and a complete joke.
Putin is just throwing lives now at a meat grinder.
If Zelensky keeps seeing videos like this, then Ukraine will never negotiate, cause they will feel like they might actually win.
I once remember the answer from a Russian general when asked about drones. He said "Why would we need drones, we got plenty of warplanes!"I think we are forgetting one thing: combat air sorties are very, very, VERY expensive.
The Russians probably drank their own Kool-aid and thought that they gained air superiority on the first day with their blitzreig strike. Afterwards they tried to be cheap and thought that a ground based frontal assault was sufficient to achieve their goals.
I think the rest are in reserves for 2 reasons.View attachment 83872
People here seem to not understand the seriousness of the situation, the Russians have taken like 20% of the Ukrainian territory with just 40k men, they are not even using the whole army. Why? i don't know? to scare the population into escaping so the can launch a massive attack over the country while avoiding massive casualities that will make Russia look bad? Maybe.
Sounds good. Also Russia would gain direct land access to Moldova and Romania.Turning them into a landlocked country will be the end of them.

Reminder that the above map is from yesterday. We can expect that right now, Russia controls even more Ukranian territory
