i know but Putin never put any effort to transform society like Europe. so the question never arise that he want any thing closer with Europe. if it was a European society he would never be able to assemble 200K soldiers in cold winter.

Looking at Western media/social media, you would be led to believe Ukraine is holding them off well and will push Russia back. This is going to be like the Armenia/Azerbaijan war where the losing side flooded their population with so much propaganda, you would believe they were winning up until the last hour of the conflict.
Kind of like WW1 Germany. All civilians were shocked to learn that they have lost the war.
Remember all the Putin apologists telling people Russia was not gonna storm or fight this war and this is coming from someone who supports Russia in this campaign.. Chill guys with that hyper maniplution Russia had to go in and it was given no option but there is no shame in that but what was annoying was these painting Putin as Mother Theressa or a pacifist and he himself doesn't want to be viewed like that but someone who stands for the Russian cause at all costs
