Looking at reddit and r/ukraine, the best thing the west can do is post memes and ukraine coloured profile pictures on facebook.
World War 3 is gonna be fucken easy.
....because reddit shitposters (myself included) is a window to Western foreign policy and decision making... Might as well take foreign policy advice from a 5 year old autistic kid instead. Reddit is clueless about geopolitics.

If West can thrown NS2 into the gutter over independence, just imagine what is coming down the pipeline (no pun intended) for sanctions next....Hope Entirety of Ukraine is taken so these sanction hit will be worth it.

Are 'Russian kinsmen' located at Kyiv airport they are assaulting?

Also, Kyiv airport is awfully far away from Donass and majority Russian speaking regions.

Seems like regime change to me! none of this 'defending kinsmen' BS my ass cheeks.
It is what it is @Phead128 we should just divert the topic and discuss the operational aspects, tactical maneuvering of Russian military which by all leading indicators seems to be done with an amazing degree of brilliance. I didn't think it was going to be able to move it's military force swiftly and decisively.

How well fortified is Mariupol?
I can't say myself definitively but the twitter poster indicated Mariupol was heavily defended by Neo Nazis.
Western media churning out these articles proves that Putin outplayed them.

Government stenographers and their CIA handlers are ornery over having to work overtime in the evening and impotent to do anything cuz President Brandon aint got the stones to declare ww3.

I'll argue 2014 was a massive Russian failure because they achieved very little.
Was it in hindsight they couldn't leverage the frozen conflict into a lasting diplomatic breakthrough? Partially but the writing was on the wall.

Crimea was special because they were always 90%+ pro Russian and we saw mass defections to the Russian side in the military and government. Nowhere else except parts of Donetsk and Luhansk, either because of apathy, fear of unrest, or the Russians got the numbers wrong on Russian sympathizers.

Putin must regret not going in hard at the start of the Euromaiden.
He was risk-adverse then because of the failed uprising, but now it's backs to the wall.

It was a failure in that Russia lost Ukraine, but Putin kept it from being a total loss by securing Crimea and supporting the Donbass rebellion.
