As a democracy Finland aligned its economy very much with the West, primarily the other European market economies.
Finland's export to the Soviet Union was on average only around 15% of its yearly total during the entire Cold War.
As the only market economy with normal bilaterally trade with the Soviet Union Finland did benefit somewhat economically but nothing as extreme as stated above.
It was a whole other story politically. Neutrality in the strictest sense of the word. Both externally and internally, never taking any position to openly offend the Soviet Union the slightest. Basically behaving politely in every way.
No doubt such a solution might be Putin's wet dream for Ukraine but I can't see the last part happening. Neither before or now.

Its only that I saw the picture that you posted of the same tank taken from a different angle and with a different demise story that I smelled something funny.
