pssssss…..the country of Columbia would like to have a word.
Most McDonald stores in Russia aren't franchise so McDonald is taking a loss here. Starbuck stores in Russia actually are operated by Kuwaited-based Alshaya group. Not sure of the arrangement, Alshaya group probably is the one taking the loss at the moment. With regards to McDonald's, Starbucks, et all, what's going to happen in Russia is that they won't stop operating, the Russian franchise will continue to operate in violation of trademarks. Its just like there are fake McDonald's and Starbucks in places like Iran.
They have the National Guard of Russia. There are units of that in Ukraine right now.Does Russia have the equivalent of PAP? It seems like they need such units deployed in captured cities
I'm surprised they haven't already, most of their supplies are probably sourced domestically. If these stores don't reopen in the long run, I agree that Russia would probably just take over them.
Indeed, Fanta IIRC.I'm surprised they haven't already, most of their supplies are probably sourced domestically. Germany did the same with coca cola in WW2.
I wonder how accurate they can make their big mac sauce, or the generic mcdonalds taste you get whereever you are.
