What is the long-term plan for Novorossiya? Do they really want to be an independent country? Why hasn't Russia annexed them like they did with Crimea?

Russia needed to protect its naval base in Sevastopol and there is a Russian speaking majority in the Crimea. Combined with the way Crimea was added to Ukraine some sixty years ago the development we saw there was an obvious and advantageous possibility. What is the long-term plan for Novorossiya? The Crimea is very much larger than Gibraltar and UK doesn't need a land road to that rock either.Russians want land road to Crimea
one more (I found out in the blog of "Cassad" ):
the assassination attempt on
(who was lightly injured yesterday afternoon after what was described by "Cassad" as three blasts of remotely triggered explosive devices -- directed at the car of Mozgovoy while it had to slow down at a checkpoint); what's kinda scary somebody in the discussion under that blog quoted his (or her??) blog "Night Before Daybreak. Last Days Of Aleksey Mozgovoy"
dated -- 21:32:00 and indeed saying Mozgovoy will get eliminated as "Batman" was (https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/ukraine-revolt-civil-war.t7103/page-35#post-321295)
Well, according to many Russian sources, Mozgovoy was killed on orders from ...
... , as Ukrainian summer offensive is about to start any day now . ...
interestingly, Ukrainian Partisans (from the group "Shadows") claimed responsibility for his assassination, which is quoted by other many Russian sources (as in )
oh is it really? that's what "Cassad" had been saying during like mid-March to mid-May almost daily
They would need inside help to infiltrate and know his exact movements in order to ambush him .
Well, it is almost certain to happen any day now (unless something dramatically changes on diplomatic front) . Ukraine again amassed more then 40 000 troops , over 300 tanks and over 900 other armored vehicles in the region. Something is bound to happen by the end of June or in the beginning of July .
