Just that:I don't understand what you are trying to say but as of right now both HMS QE and HMS PoW are active and both are currently at Portsmouth naval base.

Bro, you are embarrassing yourself using the Daily Mail as a source. Yes, the HMS PoW has had its fair share of problems but it does not change the fact that it is more advanced than either Kuznetsov or the PLAN STOBARs.

Why? Please provide some actual facts and opinions instead of just making bold statements. The only one embarassing themselves are the brass in UK that bought and build that ship...
3 true things: 2 carriers, nonworking, and sillyGet a brain honestly. Not a single true thing (except that they have 2 carriers) in the entire post.
In my opinion, the QEC is a more modern design as however much Shangdong is different from the Kuznetsov, it still shares many of the same characteristics. The QEC has IEP which is undoubtedly more advanced than the Type 002 propulsion system. The dual island design is also an advancement as it offers better control for flight operations and better survivability as it has two separate funnels. The QEC carries better aircraft (F-35B vs J-15 is not really a fair comparison). One area where the Shangdong is ahead is radars, Type 346A is bigger and therefore probably a more powerful radar than either S1850M or Type 997.What systems onboard the UK carriers make them more advanced than Shandong?
How are the QEC "nonworking" or "silly"?3 true things: 2 carriers, nonworking, and silly
Fuel economy, they don't sail a lot. What systems onboard the UK carriers make them more advanced than Shandong?
They sail pretty frequently.Fuel economy, they don't sail a lot.
Agreed. If they had choosen F-35C and catobar I could say that the design would have been better
Compared to the Harrier which the F-35B is replacing, they have plenty of range. And as I've tried to explain multiple times, the QEC class are not that troublesome, they (especially PoW) has some teething issues but that's not abnormal. Now they have troublesome aircraft F-35b without any range, on top of being in troublesome ships.
All of that is meaningless if it doesn't actually work, and there are no planes for it.In my opinion, the QEC is a more modern design as however much Shangdong is different from the Kuznetsov, it still shares many of the same characteristics.
