My source on the 8MB broadband on the QE is from page 18 of "maximum value of the F-35" by Justin Bronk of RUSI.
Every documented comments that I have seen from pilots who have flown 4th gen fighters and then have the opportunity to witness the capability of the sensor fusion in the F-35 all have the same Saul like type expression i.e. Saul's conversion experience when he was on the road to Damascus and his eyes were opened by God. We don't have privy to what God's eye view would mean but "incredible" is not an over statement. To Saul it was a miracle.Definition of incredible
1 : too extraordinary and improbable to be believed
? LOL
Brumby I believe in miracles in biblical sense, so I'll respond in a separate post (right below), to separate The Acts of the Apostles from, well, the Joint Strike FighterEvery documented comments that I have seen from pilots who have flown 4th gen fighters and then have the opportunity to witness the capability of the sensor fusion in the F-35 all have the same Saul like type expression i.e. Saul's conversion experience when he was on the road to Damascus and his eyes were opened by God. LOLOL they just made it 20: "Indeed, while early reports suggested a recent Air Force testimony by Lt. Gen. Jerry D. Harris, Vice Commander of Air Combat Command characterized the kill ratio as “20-1” meaning that, for one F-35A “lost” in simulated combat in a high threat environment that the aircraft destroyed 20 simulated enemy aircraft.""15:1" not enough: "Although they don’t have an updated figure, the pilots told us that the F-35 kill ratio was higher than the 15-1 figure they initially reported."
will they make it 20 and revoke one "loss"? LOL
source:
Looks like the F-35 achieved an impressive 20:1 kill ratio at Nellis Air Force Base’s Red Flag 17-1
...
to 24:0 “In our own analysis we're seeing a consistent ratio more like 24:0 – we're not losing aircraft at all in our scenarios, and we set the conditions for other legacy fighters to be successful where we can.”

If you are suggesting "incredible' is grounded on the high kill ratio which may be just spin I can agree that there is the possibility of spin coming off Red Flag. The tag incredible is a cumulation of evidence over a long period of time that the F-35 is indeed incredible in its capability based on first hand accounts. This consideration is divorce from the other factors such as it being overbudget, behind schedule and that currently it has problem coping with scaling.Brumby during your break from the SDF you missed this sequence:

I'm showing you this in reference to the definition of "incredible", and in reference to the US Military spin-doctoring, which sometimes produces output that might be hard to believe even for brainwashed individuals
EDIT I've now checked all these links still work, telling a truly incredible story LOL
