you mean this one:...
I prefer the 2nd design the first " rustic " waiting more infos but we can envisaged a combattant of about 3/4000 t armed with a 76 mm gun or eventualy a 127 mm, 24 Sea Sceptor, 1 helo Wildcat, 1 Ciws ?, normaly hull sonar but definitely not a towed and i have some doubts for anti ships/land missiles in anyway max 8.
...
? to me, it looks like the OPVs for Oman:

New Apache with the Brimstone for English
MBDA has revealed it has successfully conducted a series of integration tests of the missile "Brimstone" on the Boeing AH-64E helicopter "Apache". The idea to adapt the missile on Apache dates from the middle of last year. This option was advocated at the time to modernize WAH-64D "Apache" English.
For English, these include simplifying the supply of missiles with a unified Brimstone I and II already in service on the Tornado and the MQ-9 drone, the next integration of it on Eurofighter "Typhoon II."
The missile offers the possibility of a dual mode. The missile can be used against moving armored targets, as well as ships, but also as part of the hunt for terrorists.
The recent attacks have demonstrated the possibility of engaging the "Brimstone II" on a naval target in the middle of friends buildings. The missile arrives to select a specific target, regardless of the speed of the target and to maneuver even in a congested environment. The target was destroyed and sunk with a single blow and without causing collateral damage to the vessels friends. This success is due to the "Dual Mode" of the "Brimstone II" and its semi-active mode laser and active millimeter wave radar (MMW) working in tandem to provide a unique ability to selectively bind a specific target.
Audit Shots:
A number of telemetry missile launches headless were undertaken by MBDA. These trials explored the variables of the missile guidance modes (semi-active laser, millimeter-wave radar and dual mode) and this at different release altitudes, speeds and attitudes. The tests also enabled work on the different sources of designation (MTADS system of the AH-64 and fire control radar, laser and others.
MBDA is developing a new version of the "Brimstone" designed for Apache, nicknamed FAHW (future helicopter attack weapon). The FAHW is a step in the development that enhances the capabilities of the "Brimstone" regardless of platform.
Finally, the UK does not modernize its existing fleet of WAD-64D helicopters "Apache" but will purchase 50 new AH-64 type models E "Apache" BlockIII equipped with the missile Brimstone II which will replace the current fleet. The contract is estimated at nearly 2.3 billion.
P-8 Poseidon
The regeneration of MPA capability is finally confirmed and on the move, and we also have a delivery schedule:
2 aircraft will be ordered in 2017 for delivery in April and December 2019 (Production Lot 8)
3 aircraft will be ordered in 2018 for delivery during 2020 (Production Lot 9)
4 aircraft will be ordered in 2019 for delivery in 2021 (Production Lot 10)
Unless there are delays on the US side, these dates imply that the UK Poseidons . It should also come with 6 rather than 5 workstations, following the US and Australian to better exploit the growing capabilities of the type.

source:At approximately 1330 local time today, HMS AMBUSH, an Astute-class submarine, while submerged and conducting a training exercise was involved in a glancing collision with a merchant vessel off the coast of Gibraltar. We are in contact with the merchant vessel and initial indications are that it has not sustained damage.
The submarine suffered some external damage but there is absolutely no damage to her nuclear plant and no member of the ship’s company was injured in the incident.
An immediate investigation is being conducted.
The submarine will be entering Gibraltar later this evening for further checks. There are no safety concerns associated with HMS AMBUSH being alongside.
Embarrassing: The HMS Ambush submarine (pictured) was submerged and carrying out a training exercise when it collided with the merchant vessel on Wednesday afternoon, Britain's Ministry of Defence confirmed
