With no tail, and wings that fold almost 180 degrees the short height would allow it to be double stacked in stowage.
GJ drones are not the only things that need to be carried in the Hangar. You also have helicopters.

Is this a joke? This is extremely impractical and unsafe. Realize you are bringing up a photo of a carrier which served 85 years ago, fielding aircraft more than 2x lighter than the GJ-21. AND it was during this very same war that the US learned how impractical and unsafe this practice was, that is was completely discontinued moving forwards.

That photo was taken just before the US entered the pacific war, this practice was almost immediately discontinued just a year later due to how horrible it was. In combat, explosive shocks would cause the hanging aircraft to drop down on aircraft below killing sailors and igniting massive hangar fires.

The practice that was not combat proven could not even survive 1 year of use during ww2 before complete discontinuity. And you think China will take zero lessons from this?
