The CVs and LHDs use province-level names, refer to this .I'm curious, what is the delineation between province names used for the massive fleet carriers vs smaller carriers such as this one?
Although purely speculative right now, China may look to field 6-10 (if not more) supercarriers in the coming decades. Surely they will run out of provinces to use as supercarrier names if they are using them for LHDs as well? I would have thought the smaller ships would use township names rather than province names, given how the latter are the "highest-level" administrative division in China.
Tell that to Hainan. They got shafted. The CVs and LHDs use province-level names, refer to this .
There are 34 of them, not to be used out too soon lol. But the current speculation is that the coastal province names are reserved for a carrier, which is still ~10.
Man they sure love using that song.
She has 3 sets of 1130+HQ-10. 3!

If you have more than 10 supercarriers then you may be getting more provinces.I'm curious, what is the delineation between province names used for the massive fleet carriers vs smaller carriers such as this one?
