Just want to point out there are at least 4x 056 operating in formation as there is one 2nd nearest mostly blocked by 625 in the top picture.

Yes, likely to be five or even six 056 corvettes in the formation: in addition to the one in the shadow of 625, there should be at least another on which the photographer stood.
Thus, perhaps all the six 056 members of the 18th Frigate Squadron participated in the exercise. In addition to 625, 552, and 520, the other three in the squadron are 626 Wuzhou, 627 Enshi, and 628 Yongzhou.
