To answer his question for those who are genuinely interested -- in this case, if the ship is proceeding for a sea trial after a period of fitting out, the engines will initially expel some darker smoke because the engines haven't been running for a bit.
This is not uncommon for many ships if they've been at port for a bit, regardless of navy.
