Interview with CEO of TUSAS:
- 80 F110 are sought for serial production of Kaan, export license obtained.
- Plan to fly Kaan P1 and P2 together before the end of the year.
- Kaan delivery target remains for 2028.
- Agreement reached with Sikorsky for another 39 T-70 helicopters, production to start within 18 months.
- Authorization for the last batch of 32 T-70 has also been achieved.
- Nothing concrete as of now for the F-35, but renewed involvement means no altering of the strategic importance of Kaan.
- Examining alternative engine configurations for future HÜRJET variants, e.g. F414 if there is a need for it.
