"Critical Test Infrastructure for TRMOTOR

Emphasizing that the TRMOTOR Subsystems Test Center will play a critical role in domestic engine projects, Mantar stated that thanks to the infrastructure developed at the center, engines will undergo performance and durability tests under real operating conditions.

Mantar said, "Just as designing an engine is critical, verifying its most challenging systems with domestic resources and conducting the qualification processes on our own soil is equally vital.""

CEO of Aselsan: "This is the front radar of Kaan"

Eyeballing that thing gives me 95 cm diameter with IMO 2300 TRM. @30W per TRM should give it a tracking range of ~191km vs 1m2, in line with TUSAS CEO statement of 180-200km. Used with AESARadarCalculator by @Stealthflanker

BTW, I don't believe the TRMs are installed, it's just the antenna backplate and slots where the TRMs need to be installed in.

Reporter: Türkiye wants the F-110 jet engines, and they want their F-35 fighter jets. Are you going to Türkiye with a big gift bag?

Trump: I think so. He's a member of NATO. Some people don't consider himself, but he really is. He is a strong member of NATO. Yeah, I'm going to probably do something that's going to make him very happy.

Critical Test Capabilities to be Commissioned at the Subsystems Test Center

The Subsystems Test Center will establish the following:

ATS Overrunning Test Rig, used to verify the high-speed operating mode of the Air Turbine Launcher (ATS) equipment integrated into the platform engine within the platform's flight envelope;

TF35000 Deoiler Test Rig, used to verify the performance of the air-oil separation unit in the TF35000 engine's lubrication system;

TF35000 FMU Test Rig, used to verify the engine's fuel control unit's response to fuel flow, pressure, and flow rate operating conditions; and

APU Gearbox Test Rig, used to verify the power transmission and lubrication systems in the auxiliary power unit under load, temperature, and endurance conditions.

This will enable the verification of critical functions such as fuel control, air-oil separation, power transmission, lubrication, and high-speed endurance in national engines and auxiliary power systems.

So they are not joking at all and are serious about the TF110 (Güchan)

All critical components of the engine are produced with domestic resources. We have produced a total of 6 of these engines to date. We plan to carry out the testing and calibration processes of the engines from November 2026 onwards. Our main goal here is to reduce dependence on foreign countries in critical technologies, to improve our own engineering capabilities, to lead our defense industry companies by creating a sustainable national infrastructure.

- MoD, Yasar Güler

Congress got 2 weeks to block the F110 sale to Turkiye, but for that they need a 2/3 majority. The chance of that happening is very small.

Güchan really is meant as a message and the fact they plan to start testing it around the US primaries (November) adds fuel to the smoke. They don't need to wait 6 months to start testing and calibration if they are already build. I bet they are already being tested and will probably release footage of the tests somewhere around the elections.
