Yesterday, with the launch of the first PN Milgem corvette, the presidents of Pakistan and Turkey both cut the steel of the first OPV project (Acik Deniz Karakol Gemisi). According to the Turkish President, 10 will be build. It'll be unveiled at IDEF. The first ship is stated to be 'delivered' in May 2023.
Some people who have already seen the design have fallen in love with it, so expectations are high

A lot of weapons are 'Fitted For But Not With' to keep the cost down. In case of high tensions and conflict, these OPV's can be quickly armed to their full potential. 10 are planned to be build.
