I am not sure if it will be the 2026 midterms, the 2028 election or an election cycle or two after that period, but I suspect that the US is headed for a major internal crisis. Way too many contradictions, abuses of power and naked corruption going on constantly at the highest levels of power for it to remain stable in the future.

I don't want to portray the Democrats as perfect, but they still seem to have some sort of goal for governance of the nation.

Just total unhinged and performative. Who actually thinks and speaks like this and what kind of voting base responds to this message? These people are deeply delusional and unhinged. When I say that, I mean not only the elected officials, but also the voters who elect them. They live in an alternate reality fed by constant gaslighting that has turned them into completely irrational humans. They can no longer think logically or accept reality.

We, and I mean the whole world, needs to realize that this isn't going to end just in America. Look at the trade war, and now look at the Iran conflict. It is only going to get worse from here.

No,maybe he is just visiting great uncle Klaus in the new German enclave of NeuDeutscheland.Peter and ucle Klaus are very close-BTW uncle Klaus is a great guy; 103 this year,strange scars on his body,very fit and likes to drink beer with his old "buddies(who all look and act like him-but don't ask what the old gang was doing between 1935 and 1945 especially in Russia.Let's not be judgmental.

He will kill the "untouchable" entitlements and mandatory spending like Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid before his term is over. He's been ping-ponging back and forth between grand claims that he will always protect entitlements to off the cuff remarks about how entitlement spending is strangling the country ever since 2016. For anyone who says mandatory spending is bound by law, Trump has the Supreme Court. He only lost the tariffs case because it was hurting the wealthy capital owners. They don't give a crap about the rest of us.
