People used to joke about it, now I'm convinced it will happen. I'm not well versed in American politics but the change of direction is too monumental to be allowed an discontinuity of power, for the power that backs him, truly a cross the Rubicon moment.
Also it gives credence to the theory that this whole Greenland gambit is to weed out disloyal military leaders. If Trump really intend to seize power his first priority is to secure the military.

Not a golfer myself but I read that Trump routinely cheats at golf so he can "win", although for a true golfer the opponent is supposed to be the course, not whoever you're playing with.
