And I know someone who was in panic that Trump was about to declare war because of this gathering of top US military brass… I knew it was as superficial as I thought it would be. What they’re not saying is this is most likely in part because of China’s Victory Day parade. Trump was envious of the discipline. He wants the sight of US soldiers shouting their loyalty to him as they walk by. He wants to go back to the good ole days of big battleships. This is typical Republican thinking. It's all about how things look superficially. They don't think about how having 6-inch hulls are irrelevant in today's warfare. It adds unneeded costs. Are they going to have the South Koreans build the ships for them? How many Americans won't be getting those jobs making them?

While Trump administration is doing a lot of dumb things, I hate how westoids esp libs from Europe were acting as if Biden was much better with his senile speeches.

They were just better at lying professionally. The rot was still there. They seem to forget Republicans are at one of their most powerful points right now with Trump being incredibly powerful owning senate, house and court. If democrats were so great, they wouldn't have lost so badly to hang everything over to him. There is no new COVID or unexpected disease here this time. All those lib policies are getting thrown out the window in favour of child policies. Twitter acts like 4chan lite now. The current admin are just more open about what they want and act like that towards everyone without prejudice.

Truth is republicans and democrats are just two faces of the same declining US. And the west with it
