Asking for reciprocity right after giving up Tiktok is outright pathetic.
How is it pathetic?Asking for reciprocity right after giving up Tiktok is outright pathetic.
They sold Tiktok shares and a licensed copy of their algorithm. That is backing out. You can engage in denial and bar-lowering all you want, like "They still retain this or that". The fact is the consensus around this subject was that China was going to hold firm and go as far as pulling TikTok out of the US market in order to protect their business and their reputation. They first pretended to stand firm and protect their companies, then they succumbed to American fear mongering, sold Tiktok shares to American lunatics, handed them over a licensed copy of their algorithm, then tried to make it look like they never made concessions. They had such an incredibly firm grip over the US youth and they decided to hand it over on a silver platter. Nobody in their right mind would give a chip like that up without the other side bringing an even more powerful chip to counter it. And the more annoying thing is we have to wait for Trump's social media posts to get details of these deals. The Chinese side remains silent and even if Trump says stupid shit, they never come forward to set the record straight, and that is what makes it all pathetic. It's almost like they are two sides of the same coin. One side says too much. The other says too little. Both cause confusion and frustration. How is it pathetic?
China never sold the algorithm, just like they previously said they wouldn't do.
China is not buying US soy, just like they said they wouldn't, and US farmers are hurting.
China didn't like the Panama port deal, so they stopped it.
China never backs out like the US
Now they say a few words about reciprocity and you call that "pathetic" ? Enlighten us, why you think that's pathetic?
