They still don't know who did it.

If the shooter is smart, he should immediately leave the US and go to a secluded country like Afghanistan or Yemen.

I watched one guy on msnbc said a spectator got so overjoyed that he planned to shoot the gun up in the air (as some form of celebration) but he accidently pointed the gun at him.. There are so many wild crazy stories on the media.

Conspiracy theories are running wild in MAGA. They love those things.

Shinzo Abe would beg to differ though. If a Hikikomori can make a gun, then so can hill billies, who have way better machining skills, can exceed him. The US has a huge cultural crisis that is feeding this environment.

True it won't prevent all assassinations and even if you prevent them from getting guns there's always other weapons like that Japanese politician who was assassinated by samurai sword. Still it probably makes things significantly more difficult than it is now where there's virtually nothing stopping anybody with a serious grudge from carrying out their assassination plans. I mean Trump, who had secret service protection at the time so the best protection US can give, was inches from being killed, it was more luck than anything else. It's a very concerning situation, but maybe once the politicians see that their own necks are on the line they'll turn down the temperature or something.

Someone said something interesting, forgot who now, just the other day I think I saw it on Youtube.

That man claimed what we are seeing now, we have not seen since the collapse of the Roman Empire.

His idea was that some empire in history, they can get replaced. Which is very much true for Chinese dynasties. One family collapses, but is replaced immediately.

Usually, that is what happened, that some empire collapses, but was replaced by another. Guess World War 1 would fit that pattern.

The difference with the Roman Empire was that when it collapsed, nothing replaced, and history was set adrift.

If the American empire or Pax Americana disintegrates, then no one will replace that.

The Chinese everyone's candidate to mention, not interested in that one bit at all. Never!

So comes next? No one has an idea or perhaps they do not think that.

That is why all this does seem rather interesting. What we are seeing in the world today.
