At present, the upper echelons of American society are predominantly occupied by older white individuals, whereas the United States is inevitably destined to become a nation where Hispanic Americans form the majority. Given that Hispanic Americans hold far less influence in these upper strata than their older white counterparts, prolonged social unrest is certain to emerge within the United States. Only through a comprehensive realignment of power and wealth can the nation adapt to its predominantly Hispanic demographic landscape. Whether the United States will still resemble the nation we remember remains uncertain. By that time, its culture and society will have diverged markedly from what we know today.
