If China did that, what do you think the risk of hot war ? increase or decrease
I think it would be very smart if Chinese "talks" with the US were just lead ons that go nowhere designed to give the US hope of obtaining these rare earths, perhaps even giving a little to allay fears that they are being chocked to death, pretending that this is something that America can negotiate away. However, it would be a stupid mistake to actually allow them to pay any price to do away with the rare earth controls. That way, by the time they fully realize that they are in fact, wearing the noose that Western dominance will take to the grave, they have too little strength left for a WWIII struggle.
