China does have a lot of Trump fanboys. Looking at the comments of some of our „high iq“ homies here, you gotta wonder what kind of disaster China would be if it were a democracy. They have to thank the lucky stars that the CCP exists and China was saved from themselves.

Maybe democracy is not compatible with human nature after all.

This reminds me of Indians thinking Chinese love Modi because He is called "the Immortal", or Japanese thinking Chinese love Trump (like them) because Chinese made him a buddha. That isn't the issue.

It's that Trump will actively attack the other side just for the sake of it, which takes time and effort, even when there is no benefit to him or his side.

Remember that previous Presidents would publicly say they govern to benefit everyone.

My Chinese neighbor‘s mum who lives in Guangzhou is a hardcore Trumper despite living in China lol. You got people here saying that they unironically think/thought Trump actually wanted to do good. Let‘s not act like there are no idiots in China. Stupidity has no borders.

But when the merchant ships are well protected, the pirates will kill each other to fight for the wealth of other pirates. If you, as a captain, dare not attack other pirates, then your sailors will think you are a softie who can't bring them benefits, and sooner or later you will be replaced by other more radical pirates! Then we come to a world where who can be more extreme!
