They can be successful like doctors and lawyers but those who have the power to change the landscape in favor of one nation or another have the patriotic duty to bring their talents home. A Chinese person who empowers the US by creating technology that challenges China is a traitor. There's no other definition. I do remember. I said force multipliers; I didn't say successful people. Rich Chinese people with restaurants and dental practices are not force multipliers and not included. The vast majority of people are not force multipliers. And the correct answer is written in everyone's DNA. I didn't write it; our ancestors wrote it, but I'm the guy who can can read it for them (literally). I'm the guy who apparently triggered some loser who's still angry that his country got dumped by the country it looked up to as its main ally and I won't go anywhere.

Ahahaha Trump is halarious., but one thing he is right about and which has surprised many people(american military planners) included is Russia's poor military performance in ukraine and how Russian military power has depreciated after the collapse of the soviet union. Many people thought Russia will subdue all of Ukraine in a matter of weeks, in fact not just western countries but even Putin himself believed this war will be a quick one reason he made it a 3 week special military operation. However seem he was being lied to about the state of Russias military capabilities/ preparedness and thr level of deep seated corruption tjat permeats Russian military and society. Here we are, soon 4 years now with no emd in sight.

Howerver the way Trump is talking about this, its as if he is actually angry with Russia for not being able to win the war quickly, which is actually funny..i do know Trump has a tjing for putin, but not to this extent. Lmao. Lol

So by your logic, how would your rate USA military strength based on their track record in… Afghanistan, Vietnam, Yemen, Korea?

I think theres already a consesus against Indian imigration in canada. Will be the case with trump in the US as well and restriction fees on H1b visas scheme.

Canadian people noticed was going on, all these students from India working in Canadian jobs. Often minimum wage jobs, which usually went to Canadian teenagers.

The Canadian government, the Liberals, decided to change their policy, they tweaked it a bit.

To be accepted as a foreign student, the applicant must show they got the money to pay for this education they want to receive in Canada. Because once someone is accepted as a student, currently the system provides a work permit too.

After the backlash, from what I remember, the news said the Canadian government will double or maybe triple the amount of money that the student or their family must have. This was an attempt to curtail the economic migrant. The 40 year old Indian student on a bicycle in Chinatown.

So they must reach an arbitrary wealth threshold as a student before they are allowed into Canada.

It had to be done. The unfairness was getting too much.

There were at least a couple of problems in play here.

Hong Kong Chinese were never that level wealthy. I never saw HK Chinese ever drive Lambos or anything like that. At best they were C/3/A4, but most just had any car. Having a car at all is already "wealthy" considering most "domestic" students don't have one (Domestic in quotes because most of the HK Chinese had Canadian citizenship and paid the hilariously low domestic tuition).

Chinese students were good for the economy. They always paid their rent, bought cars, ate at restaurants, shopped often. The racist Canadians who complained about "foreign residents" realize it now since there are a lot less. Replaced by Indian students who don't have that kind of disposable income, make videos about getting "free food" at food banks, etc.

Let me add this:
Mentioned it before, but only maga-tard type Canadians had this axe to grind against mainland students. Then the stupid trudope government gave in to these idiots and started to make all those stupid foreign buyers tax, and further on then followed the american lead. I don't think a single car delaer sales rep, or real estate agent, or designer shop sales rep ever complained about mainland students.

Okay, this is going back, but like maybe 20-30 years ago, I was riding with my uncle, the uncle who was not exactly poor himself, on the Don Valley Parkway north of the 401.

There was this Rolls Royce in the middle lane. So my uncle drives closer to get a look. Two smiling happy Chinese young people inside driving the Rolls Royce. I am laughing while typing this message. Clearly they could not afford that car, not at their age. Also, they looked exactly like us!

My rich uncle, said right there, crazy! Not sure why, but it was funny!

You know, I forgot the part about how some white Canadians were complaining about Chinese visa students, then the tables have turned and now they reminisce that was a better time. For all concerned. LOL!
