Pakistan: unlikely to host US again

I wont say that if i was you. Pakistans military still maintains very closed ties with the US, and many are pro US and have deep historical ties to the US. Plus Pakistan is basically a military run government like a junta. So i wont say never. They can stil welcome the US military to use their country for operations in afghanistan, since they still need US support as well to counterbalance India, something they have done very well since trump came to power. Trump is basically more pro Pakistan than towards India. Its also due to the fact that Pakistanis military leaders have really studied trump and know he likes geting his way on things and being flattered. They have been flatering trunl and stroking his ego very well. They even nominated him for nobel peace price and commended him by publicly stating he was the one who avoided a nuclear war between india and pakistan and made them agree to a ceasefire, things trump was so delighted he keep praising pakistan leaders and the country. India by contrast denied to do all this and even publicly claimed Trump was lying and had no role in anything. Plus India doesnt want any country getting involved in any of their disputes which they consoder a bilateral issue. This has caused the fury of trump against India, hence all the measures against India. This will only continue if India keeps being stubburn and doesnt give in to trumps demands.

The unfortunate thing for india is that India has no power or leverage against the US , so i think they have to bend the knee for now. Pakistan doesnt have much to lose by stroking Trumps ego and and bending the knee, since they dont have any ambitions of a great power, plua they are a poor country with stagnant growth/no path to a better future so far and so no need to be embarassed in doing so, which is not the case with India. Hence the dilemma for india.
So there is a possibility the US can get a base in Pakistan, i wont say its impossible anyway..

They will likely enable some kind of loophole exemption for emigres they deem necessary. I don't expect a total H1B nuke to last given the pressure from big tech.

Yeah i think it was due to all the big tech CEO's ligning up to Trumps office to make complaints about this. Lol

I don't think its really a TACO moment. Everytime Trump does one of these, there is always leeway to acknowledge and adjust accordingly to realities that are pure common sense, like how its not smart to deprive his tech donors of 50% of their work force overnight in one fell swoop.

But for now the policy remains in that the H1-B is essentially closed to all future talent hoping to study and reside in the US.

Funny enough the restrictions on H1-B visas is actually one of the few things most americans are happy about (this includes not just MAGA , but even those who are anti trump) , i guess there was alot of abuse on this, else it doesnt make sense so many americans are so against this. I do know many american companies abused the H1-B to hire mostly indians and those from poor developing countries to pay them as little as possibile to maiximise their profits, this led to many american tech companies getting rid of even their qualified american workers juat becauae they could hire dirt cheap workers from india and others. So the system was abused alot. Very few were really indespensible workers american companies needed. Hence the reason it was so unpopular. It was meant to be restricted one day .

Lol if you go on social media sites you will see that westerners actually despise Indians than even the chinese. I guess its also because there are far more indian immigrants in tbe west and who have taken wesyeen jobs than Chinese..so most dont have good experiences with indians..

There is a great difference-the Chinese immigrants of old,especially during the horrendous Chinese Exclusion Act,utter racist hateful era of Century of Humiliation always bowed their heads to endure the horrible days/slept on kindling sticks and licked gall for a chance at a future better life for themselves and their families-then and now can't be compared on any level.Indians come here with a massive brahminic arrogance and proceed to befoul/ disrupt every social order with their bad habits/corrupt social customs as if the indians were the lords/masters here-replicating india , not humble hard-working immigrants thankful for the opportunity to better themselves-karma is a bitch and is named Trump/maga.
