Don’t know the reliability of this person but Ken Klippenstein (The Intercept) posted an substack article that something interesting might happen in mid September at the earliest some days ago. Not against Venezuela but on Mexico.

Realistically I don't think either nation could do much to stop the US from conducting strikes within their borders. I am not sure what this Venezuela operation would entail, but I doubt much could be done to stop the US from deposing the current government.
I doubt Trump would take such a big political risk. Regime change wars / wars of occupation aren't his brand.
Limited strikes are a possibility.
If only India had its shit together…. Then the entire world would revolve around China-India competition after US having eliminated itself. EU would find itself in a similar trajectory as the US.
Entire problem in the western world is caused by frustrated entitled whites struggling to adjust to the new reality that they too need to work hard to go somewhere in life after being coddled like spoilt babies and made to think that they are entitled to higher standards of living due to their skin color. It‘s like a person stuck in mud. The more they take irrational decisions, worse their situation would be.

I’d argue it’s even worse for Indians as China is mostly focused on manufacturing unlike India.
There was an implicit agreement that Americans would work higher paying service jobs in exchange for offshoring cheap low end manufacturing abroad to Asia. Now that many Americans are heavily in debt from college education, they’re finding out that this agreement is being torn apart by cheap Indian service providers.
There’s less resistance to China because most of those jobs have already left and as much as Americans complain about cheap Chinese goods, they enjoy its benefits in their own bank account while Indian labor is not as noticeable.
In general, people have a greater fear of losing what they have than the ambition to obtain what they lack, especially if it requires physical labor and is looked down upon as many manufacturing jobs are.
