MAGAs probably don’t play Fallout — too much reading involved to understand what’s going on.

The hostility to literacy that is now abundant among the Proud Patriots™ of MAGA was informed and inspired by the good works of populist GOP pioneers, like this brother:

Herman Cain: former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, GOP presidential hopeful, and

To be fair I can convince them to read by claiming that illegal immigrants are also illiterate…

A darn shame really, now Cain can't prevent China from getting an atomic bomb(as per his GOP run speech)-"I'm a leader not a reader"-he was an idiot.

I'm not sure pro-China are gonna entertained the idea of Beijing got nuked by ISIS and Three Gorges Dam destroyed though. The main campaign of C&C Generals actually felt like something western world secretly wish to happen to China. Except for Zero Hours ending as you said.

Anyway, that game seem to predict a lot of thing that actually happen later in real life like ISIS and China rising to super power status. Not bad for a game that released in 2003.
I personally liked C&C generals. I did disliked its stereotyping when I was younger and more insecure about being Chinese but I don’t think anyone with any common sense believes it’s realistic.

I mean Red Alert 2 & 3 were also very silly and campiness is what gives each factions their uniqueness and character instead of being military unit vs comparable unit with slightly different move speed, hit points or damage.

I mean, Red Alert 3 had the Japanese (headed by George Takei) invading with a giant Gundam army :).

Trump is of course not a reliable source, but we do know that preparations are underway for some kind of meeting this year.

"President Xi has invited me to China, and we'll probably be doing that in the not-too-distant future," Trump told reporters in the White House's Oval Office. "A little bit out, but not too distant. And I've been invited by a lot of people, and we'll make those decisions pretty soon."

Trump and Xi's aides have discussed

between the leaders during a trip by the U.S. president to Asia later this year, Reuters has reported, citing two people familiar with the plans. While plans for a meeting have not been finalized, discussions on both sides of the Pacific have included a possible Trump stopover around the time of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in South Korea or talks on the sidelines of the October 30-November 1 event, the people said. Another possible trip would be for a September 3 Beijing ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two, which Russian President Vladimir Putin also plans to attend.

Also this is old news which I already posted here last week, but it's weird that Bessent keeps repeating the tariff deadline will be extended every Tuesday. He did it again today. Maybe he's in on the Taco meme?

when he meets with his Chinese counterparts in Stockholm next week. The two sides in mid-May agreed to a 90-day suspension of most of the heavy tariffs on each others’ goods while they continued trade negotiations. That suspension is set to expire on Aug. 12. But “we’ll be working out what is likely an extension” during talks in Stockholm on Monday and Tuesday, Bessent said in a Fox Business interview.

“I think trade is in a very good place with China,” he said.
