It's a communist tradition that all leaders must be well educated enough to write down their personal economic and political philosophy. Maybe we should do the same with the current crop of leaders in the West.

Ted Kaczynski a/k/a "The Unabomber" was literally a genius, albeit a deeply troubled genius.
He entered Harvard at 16, followed by a PhD in mathematics at the University of Michigan. Then a tenure track position at Berkeley, prior to moving off-grid in Montana.

While I categorically reject Dr. Kaczynski's methods, his manifesto, is an incredible read. Not only thought provoking, but extremely salient in this age of social media instant gratification, ubiquitous digital surveillance, ever accelerating AI models, never mind what emergent robotics technologies will "do" to labor markets in the coming decades.
To be fair and honest, Uncle Ted was the antithesis of President Trump.
Our illustrious leader is the living embodiment of shallow superficiality and hollow materialism, whose is only by the impeccable tastes of Middle Eastern dictators and Latin American drug lords.
OTOH, Dr. Kaczynski was a profoundly thoughtful man, who lived by the philosophies he espoused, even though it offered little in modern comforts or societal accolades.
