I thought these proud Taiwaners were mostly self-claimed Japanese ?where is the super tough samurai,bushido,warrior spirit so often manga'd and anime'd,movie'd -now basically SPAM?I have several cans of it in my store room and now I can't eat it -like in spam fried rice -without thinking of Taiwan/Taiwanese whose apparent aggression is only manifested against their brothers in ML China.

Law of Unintended Consequences again-the ongoing UKR/RUSS war and Israel's war demands has seriously depleted USA's/NATO'S munitions/weapons supplies(long may it continue) so now critical mineral /rare earths ban by China might be a godsend for peace as the USA is not so eager for war with no ammo in it's guns figuratively speaking-meanwhile a smart China will ramp up all production of munitions/weapons etc .....just in case SHTF and we gotta win.
