They're desperate out of their minds right now. Huawei's 5G is way superior to any US carrier's attempts at 5G. Chinese tech is rising; the US doesn't know what to do. Screaming theft didn't even slow anybody down so they're thinking kidnap is better than doing nothing and waiting to be overtaken. They're probably crazy enough to try to ransom her back to her dad for something. I knew the US would eventually get to this level; what surprises me is that Canada arrested someone for violation of US sanctions. As far as I know, that's not even a crime; the worst you can do to someone for that is cut them off from US tech/ American dollars.

Seriously, the US is now resorting to kidnapping of Chinese nationals. Chinese internet is already saying that this is a worse attack than the Yinhe incident or the Embassy bombing.

Do you think this is "arrest"? Let me correct your statement "Huawei founder Ren Zhenfei's firstborn daughter was kidnapped on order of the US in Canada".

I was shocked when I saw this news on CNN during my breakfast. The second thing that came into my mind was under what law the US order such an arrest and when this decision was made? Apparently her arrest order was not put on public or she wouldn't had travel to Canada. The last thing is does Huawei use U.S component when supplying products to Iran (honestly I don't even know what does Huawei supply to Iran)? If the short answer is "no", then the arrest is totally unreasonable and I call those who order such an arrest a bandit!

china must retaliate rapidly, strong cyberattack to us infrastructure or Apple supply chain disruption or sell of 200 billions of us bonds. In my opinion
