NEW ORLEANS (Aug. 30, 2011) Lt. Lori Campbell is thanked by a nursing home resident that was evacuated from Plaquemines Parish, La. during Hurricane Isaac, before the residents return to the home. After water began topping the levees near the nursing home, more than 100 residents were evacuated by the Louisiana Air National Guard to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. Corpsman from Naval Branch Clinic Belle Chasse assisted the nursing home staff with care and feeding of the residents while they are on base. FORT MEADE, Md. (Aug. 30, 2012) Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC), Maryland, holds a commemoration ceremony to pay tribute to the 10 Sailors who lost their lives when their plane crash landed in the South China Sea on its way to South Vietnam Dec. 12, 1971.
