Does it get hot inside working aboard the US Naval ships. I see a lot them sailors took off the top portion of their overalls during work.

Does it get hot inside working aboard the US Naval ships. I see a lot them sailors took off the top portion of their overalls during work.

It does get hot at times. Particularly in confined spaces.

On the other hand I know when I worked in the missile magazines aboard USS John F Kennedy & USS Midway it was sometimes cold down there. We had to wear jackets at times.

All USN ships have AC. BUT..sometimes there are issues. Just like anywhere in life.
