ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 27, 2024) Sailors and Marines aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) conduct maintenance on an MV-22B Osprey, assigned to the “Blue Knights” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365 (Reinforced), during flight operations on the ship’s flight deck the April 27, 2024. Wasp is underway in the Atlantic Ocean and is the flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (WSP ARG)-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) completing Composite Training Unit Exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG). CSG 4 and EOTG work together with Joint and Allied teammates to mentor, train, and assess ARGs and MEUs in support of U.S. and Allied economic, security, and defense interests.
