Note the " Car " The marines are driving on the deck is the Growler, A internally transportable vehicle originally little more then a Mutt revamp, these light strike vehicles are now an entirely new family of vehicles based on a new chassis. they are designed too fit inside a V22 cargo hold.

Not sure that the guy who posted that comment ( I know It was not pops He knows better ) knows his fire arms at least not in post 6 because that is a M4 unless the navy went and changed the designation on there own. Sure it's an older one no doubt but a M4 non the less The stock is the second gen stock, carry handle is the detachable type, not the A1's fixed one. the barrel is two short for the Full sized M16, the mounting and upper half of the hand guard is A2/M4 style rounded not the slab sided early mounting found on A1 or early A2 Rifles.
