In october 4 new ships in the Navy ! very good, Murtha, Zumwalt the 15, Illinois/Virginia and
Detroit/Freedom all homeported to San Diego except Illinois possible to Pearl Harbor to see.

In more recently one AB Sampson (DDG 102) transfered from San Diego to Everett which have now 4, 2 in more this year and one other Kidd soon, San Diego have now 13 AB, receiving new Finn-113, Peralta-115 for 2017 and planned the 3 Zumwalt,.
Illinois/Virginia commissioned the 28
And to Everett 5 AB for end 2016 with Kidd in more soon and 6 in 2017 with Johnson - 114 in fact replace there Perry retired leaving some empty port in more Nimitz is based to Everett

PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 7, 2016) Sailors assigned to USS Nimitz (CVN 68) sweep the deck in the hangar bay after testing the ship's aqueous film forming foam as part of sea trials. Nimitz is underway conducting sea trials as part of the completion of a 20-month extended planned incremental availability. HAITI (Oct. 9, 2016) A CH-53 Super Stallion with VMM-365, attached to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, takes off from USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) to conduct surveys of potential beach landing sites and airfields for upcoming humanitarian and disaster relief operations to assist the Republic of Haiti following Hurricane Matthew, a Category IV storm that passed through the area causing flooding, destroying vital infrastructure within the country and displacing tens of thousands. As we know, the USS Zumwalt has been repaired of her minor engineering issue and will be commissioned in Baltimore next week on October 15th.
I hope only an accident not as LCS an epidemic ... ! but we wait the 15.
