PEARL HARBOR (May 27, 2015) The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) arrives at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for a port visit before proceeding to its homeport at San Diego. Carl Vinson completed a nearly 10-month deployment to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf. Back then, it was tradition to mark a plane when it arrived on the incorrect carrier. This is a photo of one of the planes after it endured some graffiti before it was sent back to its proper carrier.
