Lieutenant General
Ok stupid that I need to ask, how does carrier deck crews take breaks (drinking water, and bathroom breaks) when it's so busy all the time?

..Plenty of scuttle butts i.e. "drinking fountains" near the work centers near the flight deck. Chow time/break time is usually done in shifts..The mess decks i.e. "chow halls" are normally open on a CVN about 20 hours a day.

Bathroom break? Just go when ever you can. There are heads i.e. "bathrooms" all over the 03 level just under the flight deck.

...and whenever any of my kin serve in the US Navy or Marine Corps, particularly as officers or as CPOs or the like, you can imagine the jokes about having to go to the "head." Ah, but we have lived with it for a long time.
