Ukrainian drone depot gets spotted as men unload drone shipments to the building in full observance by a UAV. A Geran strike followed on the depot, followed by another Geran. Survivors quickly evacuated the site.

I would see a Tornado mlrs strike way more practical.. I find the use of Geran in that kind of strike interesting.

They need to have some just loitering near the front ready to give a fast enough response time.

The selection of these strikes are like when you tap Uber for a ride. You are given who is available and nearest at that time. If they already have Gerans ready or in the air, while the Tornado-S is expended and needs reloading, and no Su-34 is on the air, the Gerans would do the strike. It's all about who is who in the theater currently. That's how you get fast reaction times. The strike can just be as easily performed with FABs or Tornado-S, even with Iskander. Its just that Gerans were available first and nearest.
