Iran, one of the most sanctioned countries in the world can build drones better than the superpower Russia? WTF

Btw where does Iran get their chips, IC and other electronic parts for this drone?

Iran has had to learn to live under heavy US/Western sanctions for over 40 years. They likely have at least some basic level of self sufficiency for most critical industries. They also have a large and relatively well educated diaspora living in the West that can potentially bring that expertise back home. And failing that it wouldn't surprise me if they obtained some goods through 3rd parties or the black market in places like Turkey or the UAE.

First, Russia isn't a superpower.

Second, yes, Iran can build better drones and in a higher production rate than Russia.

Iran is not sanction by EU. A lot of their hardware and components are from EU. Iran only cut diplomatic relations with the US and the UK.
Iran is not directly sanctioned by the EU, that is correct. But the vast majority of multinational firms will still comply with American sanctions in order to avoid secondary sanctions, prosecution by the Justice Department and/or being restricted from doing business in the US.

What do you think of these figures?

Only 150 drones per cargo flight? I'm sure they can fit more.

If they've already got thousands I think it confirms that these are at least partially Chinese drones. There's no way Iran can smuggle components to that degree.
I'm guessing electronics and internals are Chinese and the airframe, maybe the engine is Iranian.

They don't even need to buy chips directly. They probably buy consumer goods and take the chips out of them. Maybe they even use smart dishwashers to get their chips

Buckets are now in high demand as a result of Russian dishwasher and air conditioner barrage :

Sloviansk thermal power plant this morning :

More accounts are reporting the use of Iranian kamikaze UAV's :
ACS 2S3 Acacia, self propelled gun of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed by the Iranian kamikaze UAV Shahed 136, in use by Russian forces.

If that's true, it must have a rather big warhead. For contrast, the other kamikazes drones Russia have used before seemed to have a grenade-sized or mortar-sized warhead, with a rather small explosion.

exactly. we know the answer already. but in general remote controlled drones only need 130 nm tech (see Predator). Literally just buy a crate of Raspberry Pi 4s or "washing machine replacement boards" and the IC portion of the drone is fine.
