Biggest successful military operation in years and for sure will be studied in the future.

Congratulations to the skilled Ukrainian military personnel and this demonstrates that Ukraine has not fallen not only due to Russian incompetence but also due to their own resilience

As for Russia, I will just say that Japanese leaders had committed seppuku for far less than what has just happened

It's not practical to build a concrete box... by what measure? Skilled labor or expense? It seems far more costly to me to lose your nuclear triad than to build concrete shelters.

Expenses, Labor, logistics.. You cannot build that in frontline. You cant easily hide them. What one can do is to disperse the forces.. there will always some airborne or in other far airbase.

Triad here means you spread the types of platform you can use to launch nukes. Russia have SRF and SSBN Forces. So losing bomber wont mean you lose the ability to nuke your enemy.

Absolutely reckless idiocy to hit a strategic bomber base so far from Ukraine, it’s like they are begging to Putin to actually drop a nuke on them.
They know Putin is a moderate and will not do anything. The retaliation could be just another symbolic attack to maintain the appearance of damage control and the pace of the war.

I am tired of repeating the same things about Russian incompetence.

Yeah.. Guam, Kadena, Osan etc. It's unfortunately just not practical i think to build hardened shelter for something as big as strategic bombers. China did one for H-6 but doesnt seem to expand on more construction of such.
The Russians have this project that was presented to Belousov I think last week
