The Deep State reported that Ukrainian units that were surrounded in the city managed to escape with the help of artillery and aerial reconnaissance forces before the siege was closed.

Unfortunately Deep State UA goes into one of it's cope modes and this might be one of those occasions. Remember that Deep State UA is working with the Ukrainian defense ministry (or they will get arrested and sent to the front). Another thing about Deep State UA is that troops also look up and read online what's posted there so they can act accordingly so there's the motivation to cope. What I read instead from Russian sources is that the Ukrainian commander literally ordered the troops to not retreat and fight to the death which to me sounds like intercepted communications. The gap is less than 400 meters and that's directly covered with arms fire.

The AFU 47th Brigade was trying to relieve the gap but as you can see they are taking heavy losses on Abrams and Bradleys. It is reported they lack sufficient infantry. Third Abrams is taken out in addition to the other two. See below.

But also in many cases, Ukrainian troops do not intentionally retreat for another purpose. They are just waiting for the opportunity to surrender to the Russians and call it quits on the war.

Forbes with professional copist David Axe is reporting about this. The AFU 31st Brigade had collapsed on this sector. He referenced Butusov as the source.

Footage of the first strike by the Russian Lancet-52 kamikaze drone on a Ukrainian 120mm M120 Rak self-propelled mortar, made in Poland. The M120 Rak self-propelled mortar has been produced since 2016 and was previously in service with the 44th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the Lancet drone strike, a fire started in the self-propelled mortar, which completely destroyed the combat vehicle; the location of the video shooting and what happened to the crew are unknown.

A major warehouse containing weapons for Ukraine was struck by an Iskander in Kramatorsk. The warehouse is the responsibility of the 56th Brigade of the AFU. Allegedly, the weapons inside the warehouse that were destroyed included one HIMARS launcher, five Grad launchers, five tanks and ten armored vehicles. The Russians could have determined these by following the vehicles to this site.

My theory is that the Russians detected and sourced tracked fired rockets using radar, either the HIMARS or the Grads, back to the launch area, where a Russian UAV went to investigate and discovered the launcher. The UAV or UAVs then followed the launcher as the launcher scooted after shooting, all the way back to it's home hanger. At this point the warehouse is discovered. Additional vehicles were discovered, tracked and identified, and with sufficient actionable information at hand, an Iskander was chosen.

YouTube upload version

The second part of the video shows a French Caesar taken out by an Iskander. That's a lot of Iskander strikes for the week, and it's an expensive missile to expend on an SPG. One can argue despite the high expense of the missile using the Iskander saves lives. I however, am in on the opinion that once again, bloggers tend to lump every rocket attack they see as an Iskander without accounting the possibility of an alternative rocket, which is a Tornado-S.

Geran scored a jackpot as it dives and hits some facility in the port of Izmail, resulting in a tremendous explosion. Recording explosions is illegal in Ukraine, but this footage was captured by Romanians across the border. The Geran must have hit some huge munition to create the explosion.

Romania, a NATO member state, has started shooting down Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace. A new video shows Romanian Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns shooting down Russian suicide drones across the river separating Romania from Ukraine, near Izmail. Romania was forced to act after at least one suicide drone landed 11 km deep in its territory and other drones flew in its direction.

Russia made one of the biggest attacks of the war. 45 tanks + infantry vehicles. It was a massacre. They lost at least 1/4 of the armored vehicles before they decided to retreat.

Russia produces 50-60 BMP IFVs a month. They are not going to run out of tracked infantry carriers anytime soon.

Not the "Russia is running out of xyz" meme again?

Since the invasion, about 175 reasonably modern T-90M tanks have been sent to the front line. The IISS estimates that annual production this year could be approaching 90. However, Michael Gjerstad, an analyst with the IISS, argues that most of the T-90Ms are actually upgrades of older T-90As. As those numbers dwindle, production of newly built T-90Ms this year might be no more than 28. Pavel Luzin, an expert on Russian military capacity at the Washington-based Centre for European Policy Analysis, reckons that Russia can build only 30 brand-new tanks a year. When the Ukrainians captured a supposedly new T-90M last year, they found that its gun had been made in 1992.
These retard idiots. If Russia can only produce 28 brand new tanks a year how come they delivered 305 T-90 tanks to Algeria?

Those tanks were delivered in three years. 2006-2008, 2012-2013.

They also made enough parts for Algeria to assemble another 203 T-90 tanks.

In between 2013-2015 they delivered 100 T-90 tanks to Azerbaijan.
Just India alone has over 1200 T-90 tanks of which 310 were either delivered whole from Russia or in knockdown kits.

If only 30 T-90 tanks can be produced a year, how come 4000 T-90 tanks were produced since 1992?
This with 9 to 5 schedules operating a single shift in peacetime. Right now the factory is working triple the hours.
