726 using Ukrainian engine UGT-6000 or UGT-6000+, 726A using domestic engine QC70? 726 is like J-20 with AL-31 never meant to be mass produced.

A magazine scan that clearly shows a Type 726 hovering over the water.

The photo of 3349 in South China Sea suggest that there could be at least 25 type 726 and 726A already in PLAN service, with reference to Chinese wikipedia which listed 18 units are in service, showing last one as #3342.
PLAN has
8 type 071, each can carry 4 type 726/726A
3 type 075 (plus 1 under fitting), each can carry 2 type 726/726A
Full complement for 8 X type 071 and 4 X type 075 would be 40 X type 726/726A. This exclude type 076 which is unknown in regard to its well deck capacity for type 726A.

071 and 075/6 can carry LCU as well as LCAC. LCU slower but carry much more.
