Different people have different mannerism and character, that's what make social life interesting. Why should everyone react and behave the same way? As long as he did not cross ethical boundaries and rules for this forum, why shouldn't he be free to make his points?
Besides, his statement might seem like goading to some here, but he has always been quite transparent with his intentions. He just want to see those pictures. I, too, want to see those pictures, and I can get pretty frustrated not seeing them. I just chose not to say those frustrated words (which is actually a lot harsher and unpleasant than what @asif has been saying). This is only a difference in character. I don't see what some people here get so offended and angry at @asif?
Every group, setting, or online forum has its own characteristics, norms and etiquette.
The difference in character is everything --- believe it or not I also have my own expectations and frustrations as well, however for the sake of maintaining productive discussion on the forum and a minimal threshold of etiquette and professionalism, I understand that expressing my more baser instincts is likely not that helpful or interesting to the community. For myself, I apply a degree of minor discipline to what I contribute because if I were to express every complaint or issue I had with PLA watching that isn't the kind of forum I would like to be a part of.
It's a matter of degrees, and if one wants to defend to the hilt that their expression of frustration and impatience is their "right" then that is fine, but other people in the community who find those posts non-productive, of poor etiquette and not useful also have a "right" to express it like so as well.
For my part, I think there are complaints which can be productive and help to produce useful discussion while there are complaints which are the opposite.
But then again, those are just my own standards for what I consider to be useful or productive discussion, and this forum doesn't have a formalized rule based standards system for quantifying quality.
