in the qa session after the powerpoint presentation a reporter asked for specifics regarding employment of j-10/pl-15 and i took the trouble to transcribe the response:

generally it seems to be intended to be a nonanswer, but blurting out f-16's involvement is a tiny bit scandalous after us stated that f-16s were not involved against india haha.
Mentioning the F-16 is a very good tactic, with how hard the US is trying to court India and how fragile the Indian ego is right now. Imo it would have maybe even been better if he had directly said it was F-16 not J-10 that did the shooting

Wow, how did they intercept comms from them? I thought that was secure?

Maybe the pilot went to an open channel after losing contact with his squadron member in an effort to reestablish communications?

Also, in a saturated EW environment, analog VHF channels have a better chance of getting through (you still hear something against the static noise) than an encrypted digital signal.

"missiles should detonate" yet the sidewinder of taiwan strait begged to differ.

i dont completely trust paf statements, they identified mica wreckage as meteor in the press release powerpoint in spite of the distinctive shape of the tailfins.
Now both sides, whether official or civilian, have begun to actively or passively engage in cognitive warfare.

Cope harder

We achieved our goals meanwhile Pakistan still thinking whether she want to escalate or not
Isn't this what I predicted "attack civilians and use their moral standards to claim a small victory. A small victory is better than a big defeat, win"

Indian cognitive warfare strategy has been predicted by me, or rather, it has been used too many times by the Ukrainians & Israelis in the past, everybody knows what will happen.

And at least Israelis happen to have a very clear position in this incident, hmmmmmmm

Reverse engineering is a skill in itself. Those that claim they don’t copy also can mean they don’t know how.

China should think twice before selling anything to Pakistan because of the retrieval of a PL-15 is an attempt at reverse psychology to prevent China from supplying Pakistan at all. You can also say the US should think twice about selling F-35s to India because if a Chinese missile shoots one down, you know how huge of a hit that would be in promoting the F-35?

Watch now the cope from the West will be ultimately to blame Indian pilots.
any sale of weapon to another country would need to be authorized from CPC beijing. They would have considered the risk of leaking.

Wait! That PL-15E section with the intact booster that India "found" could be fake?

The PAF officials spoke in English: "This is not close to PL-15."

"You can die laughing."

Nah, I get why they're saying this but I'm not buying it. PLA watchers like 洋务先驱张之洞 have said strongly that it is indeed PL-15

In fact I'm pretty sure 洋务先驱张之洞 is a China MIC insider
