Report from AP, including HD footage of the Akhnoor wreckage

The AP footage from Akhnoor is still rather inconclusive, but thank you for sharing!

appears to be a French RPL of some variety, and may have belonged to the Mirage 2000 or another French made fighter that was likely downed in or near Pampore in Pulwama District.

Though depending on just what the make and model of the wrecked turbofan reportedly captured on camera in Pampore happens to be, it remains plausible something other than or in addition to a French made fighter was lost in Pampore.

Regardless, while some Indian sources have claimed that said drop tank was released to ensure an IAF aircraft's successful evasion of and escape from hostile fire — considering the severely punctured condition of the drop tank — it appears rather unlikely that the aircraft carrying it wasn't hit.

more attention than he deserves, but there's almost something absurdly hilarious, if not laughably surreal about the Jai Hind mental gymnastics which he proudly exemplifies.

The Rafale tail wreckage in Bathinda with bort number BS001 is a single seater as shown in older images. Thus, the two seater discussed in the video must be some other plane (either a Russian jet or a different two-seat Rafale)

That's a good point, which then leaves open the possibility that the IAF may have lost more than one Rafale airframe last night as some Pakistani officials have publicly claimed.

No disrespect to our Pakistani brothers, but like our Indians bhais, they're at times a little too optimistic with their BDAs.

As such, best to keep on assessing all claims of aerial victories in play here with a grain of salt.

If true, then this is an incredible turning point in the global arms trade.

Pakistan shot down ALL Indian fighter jets, including Rafales, using Chinese-made J-10Cs, says Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

He added that Chinese ambassador was briefed at 4AM!

Ok I better set orders to buy Chinese defense stocks before they spike after markets open.
