No but in any case, an air force attacking ground targets vs an air force entirely focused on them. There will be some difference no matter how well planned.

But people are ignoring a pretty important point here? After 2019, Pakistan knew India will strike. PAF's job was to stop IAF from doing that. PAF comprehensively failed to stop India from bombing the camps, which is what it was supposed to do. What's the point talking about downing enemy's jets if they achieved nearly all their targets?

I gotta be honest with you. I still can't fully comprehend what just happened. IAF bombing base after base after base all over Pakistan was NOT on my bingo card! I did not expect this level of hammering the point. From Rawalpindi to Jacobabad! IAF will touch you, no matter where, how well defended!

In fact when it started I was expecting Pakistan to return the favor in kind. They hardly managed to do anything. See my earlier post below.

Erm...yes? After Balakot, I thought IAF was completely hopeless. This round has actually improved my perception about them. Overall still hopeless against China, though.
So IAF with 2:1 numerical advantage gets confused because 3-4 planes has to be fitted out for A2G? Or are you saying >40 were fitted for A2G and 99% of your missiles were shot down? Or are you saying India didn't plan on PAF being in the air because it has no radar?

Yemen can bomb hangers with drones and ballistic missiles, Pakistan bombed you with impunity the same way, that's just how third world fights these days, I mean are you under the impression if you didn't beg for ceasefire Pakistan won't have access to Chinese missiles that can hit Modi's residence? I mean what AD do you even have?
